Flooded !!!

I have nothing major to report as Feburary has been wasted due to the heavy rains and snow. So much for my planning to get stuff done and things growing by March !
Maybe a "paddy field" full of the finest Thamesmead Rice would be good !

Hopefully the weather will improve and the ground will dry and we can start digging !

From a jungle to a muddy lot !

Well having mastered this inserting pictures and text marlarky here is the latest pictures taken over December. As you see if has gone from a jungle to mud bath and now with the weather the way it is looks like we'll have to wait before we can do anything else !

And now with the rain we have had over the last week it's time to just let it dry out and start again hopefully next weekend.

Welcome to our blog about our allotment. It's our attempt at trying to grow our own ! This year a run down allotment but you shall see a wilderness transformed into our own little Garden of Eden !

This is how the allotment looked when we first took it over in October 08, a patch of land covered in brambles and grass.
